We are a community owned and community supported organization that relys on the generous donations from within our community. Help those less fortunate in your own community.

Donate via e-transfer

From your online banking you can send us an e-transfer to donate@mhfoodbank.com

This is set up as an automatic transfer and should not require a password.

Please ensure to put your first and last name and billing address in memo line of Etransfer or separately send that information to donate@mhfoodbank.com for tax receipt.

Our cattleman's program makes it easy to donate cattle to feed our families.  Phone Deerview meats for more information on the donation process..Donation is eligible for a taxible receipt and the Medicine Hat Kinsmen donate $9000 annually to pay for animal processing.

Planned giving is an easy way to donate and you don't have to be wealthy to do it. Whether it's naming us in your will/trust for a modest amount, or a gift of a house or property. There is an easy option that is right for you.

Donate Your Unwanted Vehicles!

Donate a Car Canada will accept your vehicle, RV, boat, or motorcycle for donation - running or not, old or new! The vehicle is either auctioned off, or recycled with the proceeds being directed back to us! Now it is easier to get rid of those unwanted vehicles.

Extend Your Donation! ATB Match Could Be An Option

Alberta Treasury Branch (ATB) will match 15% of every dollar donated up to $5,000 per year. Indivdual donations qualify for a maximum donation match of $1,000.

Your time is Your Greatest Gift

Volunteering at the Root Cellar is so rewarding and appreciated as we could not run without the manpower of our studpendious volunteers. With distancing measures in place we have your safety in mind.

Donating Food is Always a Welcome Resource.

Although we can stretch a dollar further with our grocery connections we know that you might feel better purchasing your own items so we have compiled a Wish List of items that would be helpful for us to help supply our families.

Sharing the Harvest

Meat is not donated as readily as other items, which creates a shortage of protein but now with this NEW opportunity you can donate your extra wild game tags to us. All you need to do is drop off the animal and tags following our directions to our designated location.
