Who can access the Emergency Food Pantry?
Our emergency food pantry is open to all members of our community and surrounding area, experiencing food insecurity. We have a beautiful "shopping area" where people can come to get items they need. Our services are meant to be a temporary emergency measure. Our goal is to connect individuals to services to support them in the community including our own programming that helps to move people into a stable position. For more information on how to access our other programs click here.

How do I access food?

We are currently only operating by appointment only and walk-in services are unavailable. You can call 403-528-4313 Ext 1 or email intake@mhfoodbank.com. Leave a message and our intake advisor will return your call within 24 hours (please only leave one message)

What happens when I get there?

You will check in with our receptionist and they will let the volunteers know you have arrived. You can take a seat in our Co-op Community Spaces Cafe. When it is your turn a Volunteer will take you with them through all of the shopping areas ( don't forget to bring your reusable shopping bags!). At the end of your appointment we weigh your bags so that we can keep track of the food going out for our own inventory purposes.

Is there anything else I should know?

Parking at our location is along both sides of 5th St se. We have three handicap accessible spots for our participants who qualify to utilize. Please do not park in the Corona parking lot.
