What is the race for hunger?

This event is based around the idea of the Amazing Race, teams will work through 10 challenges that will send them throughout our beautiful city. In partnership with some amazing local business, teams will get to compete in physical challenges. The best part is, the event will be live streamed all day, giving you the ability to check in, cheer on your teams and even live chat with our hosts. There may even be an opportunity to throw some obstacles their way.

How can you be a part of this event?

  1. Volunteer- we will be looking for people to come out that day and help in various areas throughout the city, handing out equipment, over seeing events, taking pictures, just to name a few. If you are interested, you can email us at events@mhfoodbank.com.

  2. Sponsorship- of our event, If you would like to sponsor our event please reach out to us at marketing@mhfoodbank.com 

  3. Apply to participate in the race itself, gather a team of two people (only 10 teams will be selected to participate). It could be you and your favourite co-worker, you and your best friend, brother sister or wife, send us a video (1-3 minutes) to marketing@mhfoodbank.com telling us who you are, why you would be an awesome choice and what you love most about our community? Deadline for submissions is June 1,2022. Each team selected will pay a $1000.00 entry fee. This fee will include your entire day of events, food, an award ceremony, BBQ, and local entertainment. First team across the finish line will win 2 prizes worth 2,000 dollars each. 2nd and 3rd prizes are also amazing.
