Become A Volunteer

Volunteers from our community are the backbone of the Food Bank and we would not be able to operate without them. These wonderful people are generous with their time and are dedicated to making a difference in their community.

At the Medicine Hat and District Food Bank, volunteers assist in every area possible. These are some of the volunteer positions: The Board of Directors, Program Committees, janitorial, driving, building hampers, sorting food, repackaging food, organizing food, cleaning food, assisting clients, running fundraising events, promotional activities, counter staff, reception, picking up donations, special events, and the list goes on. Many of our volunteers donate hours of their time on a daily basis. We cannot adequately express our gratitude to these amazing people.

We also appreciate the students from Crescent Heights High School, McCoy High School and Georges P. Vanier School that help us on a regular basis during the school year.

THANK YOU!

If You wish to become a Volunteer please contact the Food Bank at 403-528-4313.
