A HUNDRED WAYS TO FEED A FRIEND
13 classes at River Heights Elementary challenged each other to try to collect 100 items to donate to the Food Bank. On April 28th the children built sculptures with the food that was received.
A total of 1,029 pounds of non-perishable food was collected.
Congratulations to students, parents and teachers for responding to the needs of the community.

Grade 6 Leadership Academy Food Drive
The Grade 6 Leadership Academy collected 738 pounds of food at their June 23, 2010 food drive.

Girl Guides of Canada - Redcliff
In conjunction with the 100 years of Guiding Rally, the Redcliff Girl Guides went door-to-door collecting food for the Medicine Hat Food Bank. A total of 501 pounds of food was collected.

The
Medicine Hat Co-op Staff hosted its annual Stampede Breakfast in the back
parking lot at the
Co-op on 13th Avenue. Attendees were treated to
pancakes and sausage and were entertained by various area musicians. The
weather cooperated
and it was a wonderful day.
Donations of 412 pounds of food and $1,032.56 were received.
